DepEd Calapan City successfully conducted the 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐊 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟎 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐀𝐋𝐒) 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐦 on July 24, 31, and August 1, 2026, at Vencio's Garden Restaurant.
The three-day capacity building activity gathered 24 dedicated ALS teachers and 2 personnel from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), who actively participated in meaningful learning sessions facilitated by our Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs) and Education Program Supervisors (EPSs) across the different learning areas.
Serving as a re-echo of the Regional Training on the Revised ALS K to 10 Curriculum, the activity aimed to deepen participants' understanding of the revised curriculum, strengthen their instructional competencies, and equip them with effective teaching strategies to ensure its successful implementation in the Division.
Participants are engaged in interactive workshops on lesson planning, curriculum unpacking, instructional strategies, and collaborative sharing of best practices, fostering innovation, professional growth, and a stronger learning community among ALS educators.
One of the highlights of the training was the demonstration teaching, where participants showcased learner-centered and competency-based teaching approaches aligned with the revised ALS curriculum. The activity provided a valuable opportunity for constructive feedback, reflective practice, and the exchange of effective classroom strategies.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our resource speakers, PSDSs, EPSs, members of the Program Management Team headed by Dr. Dennis Bermoy, Sir Francis Macalinao, and Mam Rialyn Go, and everyone who contributed to the success of this training. Your dedication and expertise continue to inspire and empower our ALS teachers in providing quality, inclusive, and transformative education for every learner.
